"It was fun spending time with friends and meeting new people all while doing my favorite pastime! We had a fun project with lots of great color combos to choose from. The instruction from Paula made it easy to learn each different stitch used. The food was great! a lot of care went into providing meals that met diet restrictions."

Reading patterns with mysterious symbols, charts, and abbreviations is very intimidating. The biggest struggle I see with knitters is that they are fearful of trying something new because they are not confident about their ability to learn a new craft.
I have spent the last several years helping countless people become accomplished knitters. Nothing fills me with more pride than when I see my students fix their own mistakes and start and finish projects on their own.
I love to see friendships building between my students. It's another reason why they keep coming back!
"The retreat was very special indeed. It came at a very busy time, but did I ever need to get away... I just didn't know it!! Sometimes life just gets so busy and getting away for a bit puts everything into perspective."

"The location was the perfect setting for a true mountain retreat-peaceful and beautiful. All in all, the knitting, food, and setting were fabulous, but the best takeaway of the retreat were the camaraderie of fellow knitters, the formation of new friendships, the strengthening of old ones, and the laughter shared."
